Who chose your personality?
Over the years we meet people who have no problem telling us 'how we are'. It could be a teacher that tells us we are 'thick' or 'bright' depending on how they see us, or another pupil saying we are 'ugly' or 'pretty' depending on how THEY see us. Some of what people say we discard without another thought. But some of it sticks. Really sticks. We take it on board and make it part of us. We accept the label and decide to act accordingly. My question is, why do we choose to listen to parts of what people say, and yet discard other bits. Why do some bits seem true?
